Dark and viscous from a 3 hour long boil, this stout boasts strong flavors of coffee, dark chocolate, and dark fruits. After being heavily hopped to balance out dark roasted malts, this beaut was aged in fresh cabernet barrels to add complexity, amplify blackcurrant and other dark fruits aromas, and offer just a hint of tartness to further tame the dark toasty flavors of this beast.
