Girl’s Club (2023)

Girl’s Club isn’t just an exclusive club filled with all the coolest cats, it’s a superb spring sour we brew annually on International Women’s Day to celebrate all the amazing women out there and here at Midnight Sun!

This year’s Girl’s Club was brewed with marionberries, huckleberries, and some good ol’ fashioned girl power. We started this ambitious ale off with a whole lot of wheat and a “quick souring” process. Once the perfect Ph was achieved and our house Belgian strain was added to the mix, we worked in Aseptic Marion Berry puree at about 70% attenuation to allow enough active yeast to ferment some of the sugars and prevent an overly sweet sour. Everything was then filtered and conditioned onto whole Huckleberries, leaving behind a perfectly tart sour to sip in the sunshine!
