27 is a big, bad, & bold barrel-aged imperial stout created to commemorate our 27th year of brewing in The Last Frontier!

We used a combination honey malt & special b to balance out roasted qualities and produce a less astringent and more malt forward Imperial Stout. Aging in port barrels brought out a nice vinous character with hints of stone fruits, and Cognac barrel aging brings everything home with a balancing sweetness & complexity that shines through this dark delicious anniversary brew.
